Compress PNG to 100KB

PNG files often become excessively heavy due to uncompressed pixel buffers. While pure PNG does not support lossy quality sliders, our tool converts your graphics or photos to an optimized format (or downscales dimensions) so that you reliably hit your 100KB target with sharp edges.

100% Client-Side Privacy: Your photos never leave your device. Processed in your browser.

Got Questions?

Compress PNG to 100KB – Questions & Answers

Why does the tool convert PNG to JPG/WebP for file size targets?
The standard browser Canvas API cannot apply lossy compression to PNG files. Converting to JPG or WebP allows massive file size reduction while preserving visual crispness.
What happens to transparency if converted to JPG?
Any transparent background areas are filled with white by default. You can choose a custom background color in the controls.
Can I keep the PNG format if I only want to resize dimensions?
Yes. If you do not specify a target KB file size, the tool will gladly export as pure PNG.
Is my graphic kept private during compression?
Yes. The conversion occurs entirely within your browser memory.
